Following his death in 1994, Dolores remained active, becoming a member and president of the Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2956 in Springdale, Arkansas.

Dolores Cannon’s legacy extends beyond her death in 2014. Considered a central figure in the spiritual community she left an indelible mark on the New Age movement. Her daughter, Julia Cannon, continues her mother’s work, serving as the CEO of Ozark Mountain Publishing and directing the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy. As of 2023, the institutions founded by Cannon persist, influencing the practices of hypnotherapists, past life regressionists, and astrologers worldwide.
